Guest Posting is when one website features another website on its blog. They are an effective way for a blogger to get a link back to their site (backlink) and can be a great source of traffic. Now, the way to get featured on other websites is through outreach. You have to reach out to other blogs and pitch them. Sending these emails is very overwhelming unless you have a killer outreach template. So after reading this article, you will have an extremely high-converting email that will entice other bloggers in your niche.

My Story
“I want to be like this guy,” I said.I sat at my job desk watching Adam Enfory’s video on “How He Published 85 Guest Posts in One Year.” He talked about how he makes $200,000 a MONTH off his blog. He is making more in a month than I would in 3 years!I pretended to work as my manager strolled past me, but I was on the verge of a breakthrough.I think I finally understood how to get my first backlinks:
Step 1: Send a personalized outreach email to a blogger and propose a value exchangeStep 2: Write the post
For the next few weeks, I sent hundreds of outreach emails. I used Adam’s “value exchange” template in all my emails. My main pitch was:“You link to me, and in return, I’ll link to you.”
Every morning, I would excitedly check to see if I got any responses. Unfortunately, most days, I had an empty inbox and an occasional person telling me to f*ck off.I felt hopeless and incredibly frustrated. I did exactly what he said, but it wasn’t working. One day, with my last bit of motivation, I rewatched Adam’s videos on guest posting.Mid-video, he said:“New bloggers shouldn't try to provide value with link trade because your links are not valuable yet. Instead, you must find your unique way to provide value.”He continued, "This could be a job title, social media account, or any way you can provide value.”That is when it all clicked for me. My link exchange pitch wasn’t working because my blog had no authority! I needed to find other ways to provide value.I brainstormed for a few minutes and realized I could provide value with my time!So I did some tweaking and developed an outreach email that provides value via my time.Instead of asking for a link exchange, I offered to write the recipient a traditional guest post in exchange for a backlink.Within a few weeks, people finally started saying yes! I got 4 backlinks in the next month, and then with a few more tweaks to my emails, my backlinks skyrocketed.Once my blog started getting traffic, I realized I could use my blog's links to provide value, as Adam Enfroy said.So I switched back to Adam’s template, and it worked great. So below, I have two excellent outreach templates. One for beginners with nothing to offer but their time and one for people with a unique leverage point.

The Key Components of a great guest post outreach email:
Great Subject Line
Personalization
Introduce Yourself
Value Prop/ Unique Leverage Point
Open to Any Sort of Collaboration
Social Proof

My Two Outreach Templates:
Here are two outreach templates, one for beginner guest bloggers and one for advanced. Don't worry though, they both convert very well.
Outreach Template #1: My Highest Converting Template but more advanced
I found this template highly converting, but you can change the order however you’d like. For example, if you can offer more social proof, don’t limit yourself to the template.
Blue = Customized Line
Subject:
(Name), Great article on (insert one of their recent articles)
Body:
Hey (Name)
I loved your article on (insert one of their recent articles). Very interesting how (insert interesting fact about the article).
My name is (Your Name) and (insert your unique leverage point. Eg: I write to 100k visitors, or I work at XYZ company).
I blog about (what you blog about. Ex. Cooking, Traveling in California, Fitness, etc.). Here’s a sample of my most recent work: (insert a piece of your work. It doesn’t have to be a guest post)
I wanted to see if we could talk about collaborating together via link exchange and/or contributing to a guest post on your site.
Let me know what you think.
Best,
(Name)
(Optional But Recommended) P.S. (Insert Social Proof. Eg. You can read more about me here)

Outreach Template #2: Beginner Blogger Outreach Template but still high converting
This pitch is simple. You trade your time for a backlink. You offer to spend time writing a post for them in exchange for a backlink. This pitch works best for people who don’t have any site traffic yet.
Bonus Tip: When you pitch topics, make sure that the topic isn’t already on their site.

What template should I use?
If you don’t have any leverage, have no social proof, and are just starting with blogging, go with the second template. You can switch to template 1 once you get traffic and grow your blog.
